Get Well Charlie Batch

Last night in the Steelers 1st preseason game Charlie Batch suffered a broken collar bone. Charlie is one of the best, if not the best backup quarterback in the NFL. Off the field Charlie has done much for his hometown of Homestead PA as well as Pittsburgh.

In 2006, Charlie was named Pittsburgh Steelers Walter Payton Man of The Year for his generosity and commitment to the community. He regularly visits the schools in the Steel Valley School District and around the city of Pittsburgh to speak to the students of all grades; he attends functions presented by the community, and is always in attendance for the events that the Best of the Batch organizes.
